Wall Street is making some changes as to the composition of the Dow index, this will be effective September 23, 2013. They are removing Alcoa (8.07), Bank of America (14.55) and Hewlett-Packard (66.14) and adding Goldman Sachs (164.27), Visa (184.71) and Nike (67.38) ~ quotes pulled just prior to writing this post. See article here.
So approximately 88.76 will be removed and 416.36 added, which should increase the Dow over 300 points.
