Driveway Tax Coming In Mission - WHAT NEXT??

Mission driveway tax – this is over the top!
Posted 8/19/10 on:

New Tax Is Effective In December
MISSION, Kansas -- (Mission is a suburb in the greater Kansas City area)

Mission has adopted a new tax that will charge fees based on how much traffic specific properties generate.

The Mission City Council on Wednesday adopted a "driveway tax" as a way to raise revenue for road repairs in the Kansas City suburb.

Under the new program, every homeowner will be charged $72 a year and small businesses will pay $3,558 a year, beginning in December.

Larger businesses will pay more. For example, a Target store will pay up to $64,750 annually.

Mission officials previously said homeowners would be charged on average about $72.

City officials say the fee is expected to raise $1.2 million a year to help finance $38 million in road improvements during the next 10 years. It will also be used to fund a new express bus service between Overland Park and the Country Club Plaza.

City Administrator Mike Scanlon has said that the tax is fair and justified. He said the tax has been successfully imposed in other states.

Banks STILL giving away money - CASH IN!

Greetings to my internet friends,

Yep, you read it right and this is no hype or come
on. This is legit, the REAL deal and I don’t want
you to miss out on this. I shared this before and
the deals are still out there. Do This!

When I first heard about this I thought, man,
banks must either be desperate or in such bad
shape that they
are offering an incredible CASH BONUS to open
an account with them. And I blew it off!

I thought, I don’t trust banks. These are the guys that
created the financial mess the whole world is now trying
to get out of. Yes, banks are FDIC insured but I had still
black-listed them and decided my money was safer in
local credit unions that pay better interest, are federally
insured and don’t make toxic loans.

Finally, I woke up, wised up and started cashing in on this
limited time offer.

Several banks and credit unions are currently offering
$50 - $100 or more to a new customer who opens an
account with them and follows their few rules to get the
CASH BONUS. Most offers allow you to open the account
online within minutes and the funding requirement can be
as low as $100 or just a few hundred dollars, yet they will
pay you $100 in as little as 30 days.
Terms and conditions vary between institutions.

I have personally taken advantage of several of these offers.
This is the only way I know of to get some benefit from these
places that are paying such lousy interest on deposits.

What would YOU do with a few hundred dollars more?

Please share this with your friends so they can CASH IN too!

Hurry, these offers expire soon! Some offers are already gone.

to your success,
Patty Kubitzki

and conditions prior to opening and funding an account.

FOMC Interest Rate Expectations

The ISM manufacturing report for July showed that the sector slowed from 56.2 to 55.5 but surpassed expectations of 54.5. As look at the breakdown revealed that orders and production were slowing with inventories building, signs that the sector is headed for a slowdown. A slight pickup in hiring was the bright spot but not enough of an improvement to impact this week’s employment report which is forecasted to show the economy lost 63,000 jobs in July with the unemployment rate rising to 9.6% from 9.5%. The lack of job growth has dim the outlook for future growth and continues to weigh on interest rate expectations with fed funds futures now only giving a 3.9% chance of a rate hike in November.
