At SecretsFromTheHeart.com, our approach to running EAs may be different than most you will run across. Because the currency market is so inconsistent, we consider EAs to be trading tools and most of them should not be run non-stop with the exception of swing traders. While we realize Forex traders want a 'Holy Grail' EA to run non-stop and act like an automated cash generator, because of the market inconsistency, this mindset is unrealistic.

We do what is called 'event filtering'. In following the historic results of activity after specific news releases we have learned the more optimum times to run each EA. So each weekend we review the upcoming releases, take into consideration other news and events not on the calendar to determine which EAs to run for the week and when to start and stop them. We tell our clients how to do this in the Success Guide for each EA so they are not just dependent on our analysis.

Apple Pecan Salad - Dave and Busters Copy Cat Salad

Apple Pecan Salad - Dave and Busters Copy Cat Salad
By Patty Kubitzki, SecretsFromTheHeart.com

Use bagged mixed greens and baby spinach.
Sprinkle some of the spicy nuts (recipe below) on lettuce.
Add bite sized chunks of apple (leave peel on).
Sprinkle with Ken’s Lite Raspberry & Walnut Vinegrette salad dressing.
Top with some blue cheese crumbles. Yummy!

SPICE NUTS
1 T. egg white
2 c. pecans or walnuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 T. ground cinnamon

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Mix egg white. Add pecans until pecans are coated and sticky. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over pecans, stirring until sugar mixture completely coats pecans. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes. Yield: 2 cups.

Dangerously Delicious! Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark

2 sticks of butter (unsalted is fine)
1 cup of light brown sugar
1 reg. bag of small pretzels
12 ounce bag of chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)
Coarse Sea salt
¼ c. chopped slivered almonds – optional but makes chocolate less messy to eat

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Line small cookie sheet or sheet cake pan with parchment paper, cover with pretzels (just one layer) In a medium saucepan melt the butter over medium-low heat. When it begins to bubble add the brown sugar. Stirring occasionally let the butter/sugar mixture meld together and brown. This should take about 3 minutes. Do NOT let it boil. When you have a nice, brown caramel pour it over the pretzels, slowly and evenly. Don’t worry about spreading it out real evenly, as mixture will level out during baking.

Bake the sheet for 5 minutes.

Remove the sheet from the oven and sprinkle the whole bag of chocolate chips evenly over the mixture.

Place back in the oven for about 45 seconds. If you let it sit there too long the chocolate will burn.

Remove from the oven and use a silicone spatula to evenly spread the chocolate over the top.

Sprinkle with sea salt and almonds and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour. Cut up.
